Heyy!
Im back after a million years disappear from blogger kekeke, yap, I don’t know,
lastly I lost interest in writing and kinda busy with college. But now, since I
get a holiday to welcome Iedl Fitr I want to spend my time to blogging again.
Last
time, some of my friends went to my wellborn city, Semarang, city of love, of
live, and keep so many stories behind its name. Semarang is not a very Big city
as Jakarta or maybe Singapore, but in this countryside I was born.
Semarang
is located in the middle of Java island, in the north is Java ocean and in the
South is the province of Yogyakarta . This City is very peaceful, some people said that Semarang citizen is very care to each other also to stranger, so dont worry to come here . For the transportation you dont have to be worry too, Semarang have a Trans bus which ready to bring you sightseeing the city or you can order Gojek if you dont like public Transportation. I suggest you to enjoy walking too, but the best time to walk around is on the morning or night because in the day semarang is very hot, so dont forget to bring your water while going around this lovely city.
Me and Kania in front of The Old Lawang Sewu
This is the Front look of Lawang sewu, and there are so many bench surround it, so you can enjoy sitting around this buildings. Fyi, In front of Lawang sewu is Tugu Muda, one of Iconic Monument in Semarang. by sitting in this bench you can enjoy both Tugu Muda and Lawang Sewu
This is The back view of Lawang Sewu
So
first we will go to Lawang Sewu, its called Lawang Sewu because the buildings
have so many doors, Lawang sewu in English have meaning 1000 doors, In
javanesse Lawang is doors and sewu is 1000 so the citizen called it Lawang
sewu, eventough in fact the amount of the doors aren’t reach 1000. In the past Lawang
Sewu used for NIS Office (Netherland Indische Spoorweg matschapij) it was a
train office managed by the Dutch. Yas, Indonesia had colonized by the dutch
and Japan back then. And this old building was built on 1903 which means the
age is already reach more than 100 years! Oh, and besides became an NIS Office,
after the Japanesse took role to colonize Indonesia , Lawang sewu became a
Jail. The underground room used as a prison for Indonesian people who rebel
japan government. So this Old building is kinda scary and have so many mystique
side inside it.
This is the most i love when come to lawang sewu, its beautiful, isnt it?
The Corridor
Standing in a mirror doors , surely it is real doors not a mirror
I used to went to Lawang sewu twice this year, First i went there to accompany Kania when she visited Semarang. And the Second I went there with Viny and Milla, they went to Semarang for holiday too. It was fun, saw my friends enjoying my wellborn city. Oh, and some picture in this post credit to Viny, She used a DSLR to took these picture.

The Enterance Ticket of Lawang sewu is very fit in the pocket, its only Rp 10.000,00 for adult and Rp 5.000,00 for student, and for rent a Tour guide you have to pay more, sorry that i dont know the price. Inside Lawang Sewu you will see some miniature of Train, cause The Government already make Lawang Sewu as A Train Museum managed by PT. KAI Indonesia.
