Learning about : Fashion Components

Hi everyone! Im back with all excitement , 😀 I am so happy because I just found that Fashion have a meaning for me.

Today I attend a Fashion Talk show by Ichwan Thoha and Adi Barlan. Both of them are Fashion designer in Indonesia. Ichwan Thoha graduated from Lasalle Singapore and now he own his brand . Meanwhile Adi Barlan is Ichwan's Junior, Adi was his assistance for a few years. 

On this Talk show we learned about Fashion Industry and Business. So Fashion is garments or accessories wear by a small or big communities once at the time , accepted and exist.

I like how Ichwan told us to be brave with our style and just be what we are without caring what other say about us. He said he was into fashion since he was in the 3rd grade of Elementary School, and he always want to be a Fashion designer. he is such a cheerful and dedicated person. he did what he like and being himself. Okay, so what I want to share here is about Important Components in Fashion, There are 4 Components:

1.  Form/ Silhoutte/ Shape :

     First of all the components of Fashion is Form or we call it Shape. Every person have a different body shape and it is what makes everybody different. And as a Fashion people we have to know about form that suit us well. There are so many shape of body that people have. Why it's important to know well about the body shape? Because its the fundamental to styling our looks, to make it as perfect as we want it to be. And by knowing about Form or Shape we can improve and add more style to the base form/ shape. For an example, the ancient human wore T shape and now its being a Tshirt.

 This is the form or shape of Fashion Components

     Tips:

• A line is for you who have a big hip and bottom
• Empire is for a pregnant women or a person who need to boost their chest 
• Fishtail or Mermaid is for you who have a big thighs or calves

2.  Texture:

      A surface or something we can touch and feel. There are 2 types of texture:

Feminine Texture and Masculine Texture. It is true that Fashion are divided into two for Woman and Man. But nowadays rather man or woman can wear what they want because Fashion have no limit. For the Feminine Texture, it have more flexible and loose texture such as Chiffon, Satin, Jersey, and Silk. 

The Masculine Texture have more 'Man' feature , formal and inflexible components such as Denim and Wool.

    

3.   Color :

      Just like two other components , Color is one of the most important thing that a Fashion Designer couldn't forget. Color are a representative of someone moods or sometimes its show a characteristic of some company. We learn about color styling in Fashion industry, it is how we mix two different color together. We can also make color as our inspiration and make a new collection from some color. Each color have different character and its reflect to person who wear it. For example if you are a cheerful person you can wear yellow , it is depend on your mood. And we have so many colors in the world because if we combine one color to other color we can make a new colors.

4.   Design/ Detail/ Looks :

      The Last Components is Design. it is the most favorite major for some designer, we combine all of the components in a design. And Design have so many part, each part are combining each others.
